Street Food Cinema Sets May and June Events, Kicks Off With ‘Wicked’
Street Food Cinema (SFC), LA’s largest outdoor cinema, food, and music series, announces the beginning of their 14th season with its exciting May and June schedule. Events run Saturdays, May 10th through October 11th, spanning 23 weeks.
The new season kicks off with the popular musical film Wicked at The Autry Museum of the American West on Saturday, May 10th. Colorful photo ops will be featured throughout the event for guests to capture memories. Groovy tunes prior to the film screening will be provided by local band Lunar Riptide with comedian Justine Marino emceeing. Popular local food trucks serving include Belle Pasta, Pickles and Peas, Angelenos Wood Fired Pizza, Lupita’s Tacos, Baby’s Burgers, Tropic Truck, Love Bird, and Sure Good Soft Serve. A playful selection of Wicked-inspired cocktails will also be available at the bar. Doors open at 5:30pm; live music starts at 6:45pm; movie starts at 8:00pm.
May also features the Academy Award-winning Best Picture, Anora, as well as a Dolly Parton-themed night to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of 9 to 5, and To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar (30th Anniversary) to kick off Pride Month. June presents a special partnership event with the official Disney fan club D23 celebrating the 30th Anniversary of A Goofy Movie, plus a special presentation of Sonic the Hedgehog. The SFC season will run through October 11th followed by their popular Halloween event series Boo-ze, Bites & Frights.
Prior to opening night, SFC will present their first halfway to Halloween experience, Boo-ze, Bites & Frights: Half-O-Ween, on May 2nd and 3rd in the village of the historic Heritage Square Museum. The immersive 21+ experience features scary outdoor movies, carnival games, boo-zy bars, taste-bud tingling street food and much more. Friday, May 2, Street Food Cinema presents the witchy cult classic film The Craft and Saturday, May 3, celebrates the 25th anniversary of the original supernatural horror film Final Destination.

The Reserved section is premium seating in front of the screen, which is exclusively for Reserved ticket holders. You may arrive at any time. Seating is first come, first serve for both General Admission and Reserved sections. Chairs are not included.
Season Passes available now for $99. Valid for use at all scheduled Street Food Cinema events. Not valid for indoor or special events including Boo-ze, Bites & Frights, La La Land in Concert, or Yuletide Cinemaland. All season passes include 15% off concessions sold by SFC, not including alcohol. Pass includes seating in the Reserved section.
